Our first seminar for 2021 was a work in progress seminar looking at work in early stages. As usual, C3P members are encouraged to share materials around their current work so we can familiarise ourselves with each other’s research and facilitate discussion around the work. This seminar focuses on work and discussion presented by Dr Aaron Burton, Dr Grant Ellmers, Dr Luke Johnson, Dr Renee Middlemost, Dr Chris Comerford and Dr Mark Rogers.

Dr Renee Middlemost on her book on Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, as well as three collections on gender and the action film that she’s co-editing.
Dr Chris Comerford on his book in progress, Cinematic Digital Television: Negotiating the Nexus of Production, Reception and Aesthetics.
Presentations by Dr Aaron Burton on his work in development Schollywood Confidential: University Filmmaking and Secrets of Critical Screen Production and Dr Mark Rogers on his play Naked and Screaming, recently staged at La Boite Theatre, Brisbane, are both available on request.
