I am a PhD Candidate and C3P member and very pleased to share that my work has recently been published as part of the Signs special issue on “Public Feminisms.” My article is titled, “‘They should have never given us uniforms if they didn’t want us to be an army’: The Handmaid’s Tale as transmedia feminism,” and it explores how The Handmaid’s Tale circulates as a fan and feminist object. The early stages of this project were presented during the 2018 TAEM Postgraduate Conference which a few C3P members helped to convene. It was, of course, also brought to fruition under the careful supervision of Anne Collett, Sue Turnbull and Christine Howe. If you would like a copy, please email me on amyboyle@uow.edu.au.
